Exciting news.....

im getting married in 10 months time, i have been engaged for nearly a year now and myself and john decided to go for it, venue booked and the ball is well rolling, it's so exciting organising it all, im making my invites so im going to make some mock up ones tommorow, will put up pictures and i would appreciate any feedback.

we are going for a vintage tea party look, well when i say WE i really mean ME as john's facial expression was rather amusing followed by ' whatever you like dear' so out comes the bunting and the little dainty cups and saucers filled with sweets as favours and the teapots full of roses for the centre pieces again anymore vintagey ideas thrown my way would be very much appreciated.

Hello it's me, it's 1am and im still wide awake. this is due to the upset of my routine, i have been doing a few sleepovers at work, you are supposed to go to sleep hense it being called a sleepover, this doesnt seem to happen though due to the noise of the tanks and washing machines, i work in a respite unit for adults with learning disabilites and special needs, on a occasion whilst my senior is on holiday i step up to do the senior role, i dont like it as its paperwork and answering the phone i much prefer to interact with the clients.

well, it's been six months since i last wrote on my blog page, how poor is that!

what have i been doing?

work, work, work, and you guessed it more, work!!!!

no rest for the wicked, i work in a small respite unit for disabled adults, with physical and learning disabilities.

i do love my job but find it taxing at times, although was on the karaoke the other evening with this weeks residents, it was great fun.

will post some interesting pictures up as i usaully do,

these photographs are taken at a place called CLACHTOLL on the west coast of scotland, a beautiful place , my friends own a caravan site there so went a couple of weekends before christmas for the weekend, had a nice relaxing break.

well yet again i have been rubbish posting!!

germany was fantastic, loved catching up with jem,ste and the boys(my sister, partner and nephews), we had a great time, except for missing our flight home due to coach being stuck in 3 traffic jams, it cost us £300 to get home 2 days later!!!!!but alas we got to see them again for two days,xxxx miss them like mad xxx heres a few pics , will put up some more soon, theres heaps so have to pic out the best ones, also try and download my stupid balloon dance video, it's funny!

horray the flu is leaving, i spent thursday and friday in bed, that with all the cold remedies seemed to have helped, just have a little bit of a snotty nose and a weeeennnnyyy cough left, im so glad as it was no fun at all, was in work saturday and today, day off tommorow though, yey!!!! have to tidy up, poop!!!!

today, well yesterday and today i have am suffering from the delightful flu bug,ahhhhhhhh!
snotty nose
bad cough
sore throat
aching bones

so at the moment ive coverd myself in vapour rub, dosed up on beechams cold and flu capsuels, olbus oil shuffed up my nostrils and eating oranges sat in bed, wotching televisions and messing about on the laptop.
so hopefully i will be right as reign soon enough and that the horrible red nose and dodgy husky voice will be gone!!!!!!!

oh what a lovely day it is today, i was in work 7am-1:30pm today, i couldnt wait to finish today so i could get home and sit in the sunshine!!!!!!!! which i am doing right now, it's so peaceful up here all i can hear just now is the sea crashing on the shore in the distance and the birds singing!
im sat outside in the front garden with my lap top plugged into a redicously long extension lead.(the battery on my laptop isnt too good jut now)
i tried to read a book but give up and got computer out instead, i have a thousand and one things i should be doing but who wants too do housework in this weather!!!!!!!!!!!! nahhhhhh not me!

well well well, oh what fun, i was a little dubias about going as the last time i seen strippers i was scared for life,this time though i was pleasantly suprised and had a scream!!!!!!! it was all for charity to raise money for ENDURO AFRICA, there was a anne summers demonstration (this was quite frightning as a woman that lives round the corner from me was dressed up as miss whiplash(ill never look at her the same again now!!!!!)

then a disco, then three male strippers then disco again in between.

i myself got dragged up, ha ha ha, and had a plastic trunction coverd in whipped cream thrust into my face, aaaaahhhhhhhhhh! i made sure my friends Wilma and Evelyn where taken up too, which they where, Wilma got thrusted at from behind and sat on and evelyn nearly got a WILLY on her head, ha ha ha ha!

also my friend karen got taken up, she had to pour wax onto the strippers chest, ha ha ha ha oh what fun, have a laugh at the photos!!!!!

emmas hen weekend the write up

got up at 5:30am on the friday morning and woke john up too as he was taking me down to inverness to catch the train, i had a funny feeling in the eveing that i had got the train times wrong and was unsure when the train actually was
we went down early anyhow, but as i guessed i had got the train times wrong and was 3 hours early, woops, i treated a not so happy john to a cooked breakfast, he did find this very amusing that i had got the times wrong!!!!
after breakfast john left to head back up the road and i sat and waited for my train!
i suprisingly only nodded off once for 5mins(i normally sleep all the way)

got to the lakes where emma and claire where waiting for me, we went and got provissions from morrisons and headed off to the cottage, directed by THE NAVMAN, who actually led us up some one elses driveway, i was going to go into there house too!!!
we found our cottage, cozy but a little dated in the decor who cares though im no laurence llwyellen!!!!
we choose our rooms and just sat a nd chilled putting on facemasks and painting toenails etc, claire and i had decorated the livng room with pink balloons and had a blow up doll for emma so we had fun taking photos of those!!!!!!

the next day we went into keswick NAVMAN got us there where our llamas would be waiting for us, emma didnt know anything about this, so she was pleasantly surprised as she thought we where going white water rafting(emma doesnt do excersise)so we were made up she liked it, went for a little walk around the lake and had a picnic, weather was rubbish.
in the evening we went for a chinese(emmas favourite food!!!!!) then retreated back to the cottage.

sunday we had a lie in, then off on a boat trip, again weather was crap, we had lunch in a cozy pub and enjoyed a pint of local ale SNECKLIFTER i had, had this before as i had been to the brewery with my parents a few years back,lovely rich flavour and nice aftertaste.
we then took a few photos out on the moors with blow up rob and willy.then more facemasks at the cottage.

then monday was back on the train up to scotland this time i did sleep but not the whole way.

hooray, im writing a new post again today!!!!!!!!

well im feeling alot better than i did yesterday, full of a cold now though and hoping to shift it before the weekend as ive got my friends henweekend and dont want to have it then.euclyptus galore!!!!!

i was in work today 1:30pm-9:30pm, no hospital trips today, quite a quiet shift(well needed)

im in work 7am-about 3pm ish tommorow(i normally finish at 1:30pm)but as i have volunterd to do a drama group with the day centre for adults with learning disabilities which is across the road from our unit, im quite looking foward to it, think im going to do a play with them, will have to access ability levels with some games first. will keep you all posted.

im really hoping that the weather is going to be nice for this weekend, i have to get up at 5am friday(not looking foward to that) as i need to get to the train station for my train to the lakes, where i'll meet claire and emma, having a relaxing evening on fri, then fun and games on saturday followed by a meal in the evening, drinkie plops and a quite day sunday, a spot of lunch and a walk, then back home monday. very excited now.

then the following weekend im off to a ladies night, some erotic dancers are performing(ha ha ha ) so hoping to have a laugh at those, will take photos if im allowed, then a disco and ann summers party(naughty knickers) all for charity..

then the weekend after that i have my friends 60th birthday meal in a castlse(she doesnt know, so that will be nice)

lots going on for me, so lots to write about, no excuses now, will write again soon

well hello, im very bad with computers i confess and from this day foward i will try to write a new post everyday............. we shall see how it goes.....

today i will talk about how crap i feel as yesterday/+day before i have done a 27hour shift, i feel totaly drained every inch of me aches, i feel sick. one of the clients i look after was ill so i had to acompany them to hospital, i am no stranger to this as i have done it so many times with ,my mother, but its soooooo tiring. so my shift started on sunday at 3pm and i got home on monday at 7pm!!!! and i dont get paid for all of it , how awful!!!!!!!! i have attached photographic effidence.look away if you have nightmares!!!!

i am doing nothing today!!!!!!!at all

portugal was super weather was lovely and warm a few mishaps, when we arrived at the hotel, they didnt have our reservation and on the second day the ceiling came down in the bathroom on my friend karens head (it sounds alot worse than it was, it was a panel, but it did klonk her one) she was putting her towel over the shower curtain pole to dry and she knocked the panel down, i was through in the room with my other friend eva we just heard an almighty bang and a 'AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGHHH' i thought she had fell in the bath, she was just stood there trying to hold the ceiling panel up, i ran back through and phoned reception, that was a laugh trying to explain to the receptionist that the ceiling had fell down, all i got was 'pardon, the ceiling it fall down' at this point i was laughing alot also which made it harder to understand me, ha ha!! karens head was fine though we had to move rooms to a horrible damp smelling one, alas it was only for one night. the weather was good had a few drinks,food would've been fantastic if i ate meat or fish, the vegetarian tomato pasta was cooked in fish sauce, uuuuurrrgggghhhh!!!!! and some lovely buildings too(would be nice to buy one and open a wine bar, have to win the lottery first!)

well i cant believe ive not wrote on my blog for this long, devon was lovely, weather was gorgeous, me and john where swimming in the sea at 7pm (its not normaly that warm in britain at all)
dad got john drunk on cider(although he wasnt forced) he was flat out for 7 hours and missed his pizza, woke up at 2am and didnt know where he was, ha ha very amusing!!!
found this top pub a little hippy place called The Pigs Nose with random baskets of wool so you can knit a line or two and a cozy log fire, food was great and the cider was lovely.
went on a steam train and visited a butterfly farm, john and dad played golf a few times and me and mum went shopping.
there was no cheese and onion fair, most dissapointed as myself and mum went looking for it, we finally found a tourist information place and we were told it didnt take off, was quite looking foward to it as it sounded so bizzar!

off to devon on saturday with my parents and my boyfriend john, really looking foward to it, as i live 500miles away from my parents and it'll be nice to spend some time with them.
john will be going off playing golf with my dad and me and mum will be off doing various things, 'a cheese and onion fair' being one of them!!!!!!! i really dont know what that is all about, but i do like cheese, so i hope there is actually cheese there, or i will be most upset!!!!(will put photos up when we return!)
where also going on a steam train, i love steam trains(reminds me of my grandad, who was a bit of a train fanatic) and going shopping and eating good food(i love food) not that fussed about shopping but can easily spend a few pennies!!!!
then when return im off to portugal two weeks later with two of my friends, wah-hoo!!!!

well loch brora is now one of my favourite places, the only sounds you here are the occasional gust of wind or the cows eating grass!! its a really peaceful place, i often cycle out there(cycle as i dont drive) even if i could drive i'd still bike it!! its about 5miles to get there from my house, so i always take something to eat and drink(a wee picnic) with me and a good book, sometimes i even spot a few wild deer which is lovely. or just sit there and put the world to right!!! will put some more pictures up when i work out how too!

well work wasnt that bad after all, still a little boring though and didnt get out on the bus!!!

was in work for 24 1/2 hrs on saturday/sunday, off shift at 11pm though to go to bed, but cant sleep in that horrible old bed and before you know it , its time to get up and start again at 7am. what makes things more difficult is that we have no domestic assistant(cleaner) she left two years ago and was never replaced so at the weekend i was doing my job as well as the seniors job and the cleaners job( no wonder we get tired!!!)and looking after the people too!!!

hopefully things will get easier soon!!!!!

well off to work shortly!!! 1:30-9:30pm!! its okay just a little boring just now, i work with special needs in a respite unit(that bit i love) but the sitting around doing very little due to lack of transport is what i cant stand and the poor clients, being fed up and bored!!! out of my hands though im afraid so just have to plod on. will report back tommorow on my day at work(knowing my luck, we'll probably get the use of a bus today and it wont be that bad!!!)
